1st Shift Clean Room Packer - (experience in a clean room helpful but not necessary)
EMS is looking for candidates who like to work in a team atmosphere, are highly motivated, dependable and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Position Summary: In a sterile environment in a manufacturing (non-medical) clean room, the packer is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging metal material to prepare for final packing.
Responsibilities:
- Carefully inspect material for dust and contaminants prior to packing.
- Accurately label metal coils for identification ensure they are properly sealed
- Operate table lift and sealer machine
- Use hand-held tools
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area, following all safety protocols.
- Wear all required clean room PPE
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School or Equivalency Diploma
- Basic shop math skills
- Manual dexterity and attention-to-detail required
- Prior class 8 clean room experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
Physical Demands:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 5 lbs
